Simple Comfort Near the City
attentive staff quick travel 24-hour reception
This simple hotel provided good value. Its location near the city center was very helpful. I found the staff attentive and ready to assist with directions! I appreciated the availability of bus service just outside the hotel, it allowed for quick travel to main attractions. The 24-hour reception gave me assurance . I felt safe and supported.
The beds were a little too hard. It affected my sleep quality slightly.

uneven floor air conditioning
The room did look clean at first. I soon noticed how uneven the floor was. It sloped quite a bit, and I was like I might fall over sometimes. The room also lacked air conditioning, a major issue when the weather got warmer, this made it hard to sleep comfortably.

a really GOOD stay!
friendly staff new bathroom
the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean with a new bathroom suite, good shower, very comfortable bed and tv. it was Ideal for my stay because i was able to check in early.
the hotel is clearly older and Feels it. carpets in hallways and stairwell are discolour with wear. there is a musty old building smell without airfreshener in rooms.

the reception works all hours. the staff were very helpful for everything i needed, even unrelated to my stay. they were really kind and easygoing, so that's good.

there IS a sainsburys and a tescos locally. a couple of decent pubs are also nearby. restaurants look decent too. it IS handy to have options nearby.

convenient desk easy access plentiful options
I found the 24-hour desk convenient for my late arrival. nearby, a sainsbury's and a tesco provide easy access to any necessities i might have needed. additionally, the presence of several pubs and restaurants created plentiful options for local dining. I was genuinely impressed.
i noticed the hallway carpets could use some updating, but it was a minor detail.
